Assist the ICW Social Workers by providing administrative and technical support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Other duties may be assigned)
Answer phones and other reception duties.
Set up and maintain case files and keep charts up to date.
Assist with intake process.
Act as referral to inquiries.
Assist with transportation when a client needs a ride to school, appointments, and court or visitation.
Assist alongside other team members to provide basic life skills training to clients, and families.
Assist social workers in coordination and set up of home studies.
Assist client’s with necessary paperwork, scheduling needed assessments and other appointments.
Schedule and confirm supervised visitation on behalf of social workers as directed.
Maintain confidentiality of client and family information, issues and case plans.
Participate in monthly Family Wellness Team meetings.
Attend court with the ICW Social Workers and provides support as needed.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

The successful candidate will work with other Family Services providers. The following skills are needed to successfully perform this position: good communication skills, experience working in tribal communities; ability to work independently; and experience with administrative tasks including necessary computer skills.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree and one year experience in a related field; OR High School Diploma or GED and three years experience in a related field.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
The successful candidate must have a valid Washington State Driver’s License and proof of insurance. Must successfully pass a WATCH background check. Must get CPR/First Aid certification and pass TB test within 30 days of hire date.
