Mission
Squaxin Island Parks and Recreation is reconnecting our community and youth to reach their full potential through culturally enriched activities that improve physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional well-being.
The Squaxin Island Parks & Recreation Department manages the fitness center, pool, Community Kitchen, and youth activities programs. These services are continually evolving and are designed to enhance the social development, cultural identity, and overall well-being of the Squaxin Island community.
To complement our programs, we have developed a corresponding outreach strategy to engage other departments within our organization, as well as community partners and tribal departments. We believe that these collaborative efforts will not only enhance the programs and activities we offer, but will also foster strong relationships within our community.
We are committed to ensuring that the Squaxin Island Parks and Recreation Department continues to provide the best possible programs and facilities to our community members.
