The Human Resources Department strives to reach maximum employment of tribal members by identifying and posting job opportunities both inside and outside of the tribal government.
The department provides mediation services and Employee Assistance Program referrals (as appropriate), as well as training in conflict resolution, evaluation management and harassment prevention.

To recruit employees who will provide quality services to the Squaxin Island community; to reduce unemployment through job skill training and education that will further self- sufficiency of Native People; to facilitate and implement policies as directed by the Tribal Council; and to ensure a safe and equitable working environment.
