RFQ – Strategic Energy Sovereignty Plan
The Squaxin Island Tribe Planning and Community Development Department is seeking qualified consultants or consulting teams to develop a comprehensive Strategic Energy Sovereignty Plan that supports Tribal energy resilience, sustainability, and self-determination. The selected consultant will work closely with Tribal leadership, staff, and community members to assess current energy conditions, evaluate renewable and alternative energy opportunities, conduct community engagement, and develop a long-term roadmap for energy sovereignty. Consultants, companies, and organizations with experience in Tribal energy planning, renewable energy systems, microgrids, utility planning, workforce development, and community engagement are encouraged to apply. Qualifications are due by September 23, 2026, at 4:00 PM PST.
