Meet Your Drivers

Windy Poitra
Transit Coordinator

Hi, my name is Windelyn Eve Poitra (Windy). I was born in Walnut Creek, CA, but came to Shelton in 1975 when I was 15. Some of my first friends were Squaxin people. My hobbies are beading, making dance shawls, playing pool and hanging out with my 6 Huskies. It is an absolute privilege for me to be of service to the Squaxin community, and I hope to be here for many years to come.

Rick Woodall
Driver

Hello, I am Rick Woodall. I was born and raised here in Mason County. I have worked in the lumber mill and woodworking industry for years. My hobbies are cool cars, cruising in my classic, and drag races. Most important to me are my family, my three grandkids, and my friends. I feel very lucky to work for Squaxin Island Tribe as your new bus driver. Thank you!

Michelle (Shelly)
Driver

Hi, I grew up in Shelton, and I have been in transportation for 10 years. I enjoy the beach, riding quads, and spending time with my family and grandkids. I am looking forward to driving a bus for the Squaxin Island Tribe.

Leonard Scott
Driver

I was born and raised in Idaho. I’ve spent most of my adulthood in Hawaii but have also lived in Arizona, Missouri, Spain and now, for the past eight years, in western Washington. I am married, we have one child, who is studying to be at a nurse at UW, and a small dog named Luna. I am a retired (read worn-out) Carpenter/homebuilder. I love literature, music and movies. I am happy to be working here and am honored to serve the Squaxin community.
