Squaxin Island Tribe | Dept. of Planning and Community Development invites qualified contractors to become a part of our registry. This directory will consist of individual contractors who recognize the need to respect and protect the resources necessary for the continuity of Squaxin Island Tribe. The Squaxin Island community consists of extensive systems for government services, housing, transportation, sanitation, utilities, land use, and communication.
The Squaxin Island Tribe is a culturally and economically strong community of self-governing resilient people united by shared values and traditions. We are committed to honoring Mother Earth, the resurgence of our traditional ways and the respect and protection of all people with pride, honor, and dignity.
Contractors will maintain and practice a commitment to the people through the elements of design that depict the adaptive and cultural history of Squaxin Island people, of who we are and why we are here.
