Performs a variety of computer functions to upgrade and increase the efficiency of office related tasks and electronic records management system tasks. This position is also responsible for maintaining the Natural Resources department’s harvester data.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data: Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Access
Support front office systems to improve efficacy.
Support back office tasks to ensure accurate harvester data.
Work with partner agencies to ensure Squaxin data is corrected and accurate.
Work with NR staff that need information from Harvester Data. NR Office tasks: Must be proficient in Microix
Back up front office staff when sick or on vacation.
Participate in planning and organizing NR Events.
Manage and order office supplies.
Organize and maintain resource room. NR Committee’s: Must be proficient in Zoom, Microsoft Outlook & Microsoft Power point
Work with NR staff to setup, manage and document NR Committee information and requests. (in person and electronic meetings)
Communicate with committee members for scheduling and voting.
Work with committee’s on annual committee reporting requirements. Tribal Records Management Policy: Must be proficient with scanning software & equipment.
Participate and ensure the Natural Resources department records comply.
Maintain and update an electronic file system for the Natural Resources Department.
Maintain protocol for current and future documents for filing and or scanning.
Work with the Natural Resources staff to efficiently use the electronic file system.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree OR Associates of Arts Degree and two years of related experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 4 years related experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
